To commemorate the 112th National Day, Bhutan Red Cross Society launched ‘Red Cross Taxi Volunteers’ in Thimphu, Gelephug, Samdrup Jongkhar and Phuntsholing. To celebrate the significant day of nation- building, 237 Red Cross taxi volunteers offered free ride within the city in these three branches. A total of 369 taxi drivers registered with BRCS as volunteers and commits to provide free transportation during important occasion and emergencies.
