#SouthChhkha Branch

The Sub-Branch Induction Training program for volunteers has commenced from Chhukha Branch, covering Gedu, Darla, and Pasakha sub-branches. As part of this program, volunteers will receive training in Basic Non-Medical First Aid, fire safety, and hazard training to equip our volunteers from the Sub-Branches with essential skills for effective emergency response. Additionally, they will be introduced to movement principles and Command and Control procedures.

This initiative plays a crucial role in strengthening grassroots volunteer networks and enhancing disaster preparedness, response, and community resilience. Through active volunteer engagement, BRCS is committed to supporting vulnerable communities and complementing the Royal Government of Bhutan’s disaster and emergency management efforts.

The program will continue through 2025-2026, with the BRCS team visiting sub-branches nationwide to reinforce district-level preparedness and cultivate a culture of readiness within the volunteer network.
