To observe the World Blood Donors Day on 14 June 2024, the hospital’s Blood Bank organized a blood donation drive on 14th and 16th June 2024. During this drive, Bhutan Red Cross Society, Gelephu, and other donors generously contributed 49 units of blood.

Donating blood not only saves the lives of others but also offers immense health benefits to the donor. It reduces the risk of heart diseases, helps regulate iron levels in the blood, and provides insights into one’s health.

If you are willing to donate blood, you can visit the blood bank between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
