Honoring Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen’s 34th birth anniversary, in partnership and guidance from His Majestyโs Secretariat, BRCS in collaboration with National Blood Bank organized a mass blood donation camp at the Thimphu clock tower square.
Under the gracious presence of the Thimphu Thrompon the event commenced with a significant gesture as the Thrompon inaugurated the blood donation by being the first to donate.
We extend our deepest gratitude to His Majestyโs Secretariat for the continued guidance, the National Blood Bank-JDWNRH, and Ministry of Health for the continued collaboration, & the Thimphu Thromdey for generously providing the space for this noble cause and the continued supports, and collaboration mainly in waste management.
The camp seamlessly, witnessed an incredible turnout of voluntary blood donors. In the spirit of giving, as required at the Blood Bank a total of 150 units of blood were collected, thanks to the compassionate 231 individuals who came forward to donate.
