The Hon’ble Secretary-General of IFRC, Mr. Jagan Chapagain called on Hon’ble Health Minister Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuk.

H.E expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Bhutan Red Cross Society (BRCS) during the COVID-19 pandemic, acknowledging the close collaboration between BRCS and the Ministry of Health.

The meeting centered on vital issues such as disaster preparedness, strategic prepositioning, and volunteerism. BRCS’s strong volunteer presence within communities and its integration into the global network of over more than 16 million volunteers across the Red Cross movement were recognized as key assets to the nation’s resilience.
