The meeting provided an opportunity to share updates on BRCS humanitarian initiatives in the Dzongkhag and explore ways to further strengthen collaboration with the Dzongkhag Administration. The Coordinators also discussed plans to introduce Community Response Team (CRT) training in Haa, building on the skills gained through their National Disaster Response Team (NDRT) training, to enhance community-level preparedness and response.

Dasho Dzongdag expressed his appreciation for the meaningful work carried out by BRCS in supporting communities and reaffirmed his continued support to Haa Branch. He further shared that the Dzongkhag Administration will 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗴- 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 set up. This is an effort under the Development Plan 2 (2026-2030) of the BRCS to enhance the community resilience and emergency and disaster preparedness and coordination of the Dzongkhag under the guidance of His Majesty’s Secretariat (HMS) – National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
