Together with our project implementing partner, the Royal Society for Senior Citizens, the Bhutan Red Cross Society has donated oxygen concentrators to the Kidu Medical Service Center and Goensho Tshamkhang, a noble facility, established under the guidance of His Majesty The King.
The oxygen concentrators will significantly enhance the center’s capacity to manage age-related respiratory conditions, provide timely oxygen therapy and reduce referrals to higher-level health facilities. This will improve the quality of care for elderly residents with chronic respiratory illnesses, mobility challenges or limited access to health services.
